Your Domain Name is the name which identifies your web site on the Internet, for example our Domain Name is "xyzservers.com". There are other "extensions" for Domain Names, some typical ones are .com, .net, .org. .biz, .info. Registration of a Domain Name is typically about $6 to $10 per year. (Never pay more!)
Some Hosting Providers "help" you register your Domain Name, but they retain control of it, and that might lock you in later on. XYZservers.com wants you to control your own Domain Name. If your plans or needs change down the road, you're never locked in to our service in any way. If you already have a Registered Domain Name, we'll provide all of the info you'll need to "Point It" to your XYZserver Hosting. If you don't have a Domain Name, just enter "Not Yet" in the Domain name field and a Real Person will contact you to help you Register one for yourself. |
